Sun-Mi received a full scholarship to Southern Methodist University and graduated with a BFA in dance and BA in advertising. Sun-Mi is also a Governor School Scholar and a two-time Fellowship awardee from Alvin Ailey Dance School. Her extensive professional dance experience include working with companies like Kun-Yang Lin and Dancers, Jeanne Ruddy Dance, Meredith Rainey’s Carbon Dance Theatre, Dance Captain for the Opera of Philadelphia to name just a few. She’s ballet faculty at The Rock School for Dance, former adjunct faculty at Temple University for dance, coaches private lessons and teaches ballet at Philadelphia Dance Academy. Sun-Mi also created and managed the Rock School’s Summer Contemporary Program called Fast Forward Dance. Sun-Mi is proud to be part of the jazz Unlimited family and is looking forward to another amazing year teaching ballet at Jazz Unlimited.
